The General Overseer of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, Dr. Daniel Olukoya,
has said that the Mountain Top University, Magboro, Ogun State, is not
for students who cannot pray or detest prayers, Punch reports.
Speaking during the February edition of the spiritual exercise, ‘Power Must Change Hands,’ he mentioned that the students and staff of the school regularly undergo intense prayers.
He said, “This university is not for students who cannot pray.”
Commending
lecturers for their commitment to ensuring a robust academic
environment, the cleric pledged that the university would endeavour to
pursue its lofty objectives.
Olukoya also urged interested members of the church to participate in the ‘adopt a student’ scheme.
The
scheme is an initiative conceived by the church leadership in
conjunction with authorities of the university to assist indigent and
brilliant students to realise their academic dreams.
