Leaving
the right impression on every woman you meet can go a long way in
determining the course your friendship or intended relationship will go.
It is important you look good, feel good and be as sexy as you can if
you have any hope of warding off competitors. The good part is a lot of
men are conscious of their appearance nowadays which points to the fact
that you have to put a little bit of effort into looking good and sexy.
Here are 10 things that can make you exude sexiness.
Be A Gentleman
Chivalry might be dead to a lot of people but women still find a
chivalrous man sexy. Don’t reserve this part of you only for dates,
surprise her with your manly characteristics now and again.
Look Trim
It is essential that your weight and size appear proportional. It’s
very much unsexy looking at a man with a huge body and a small head. The
solution to this lies in either going to the gym or wearing the proper
kind of clothes to mask your disproportionate appearance.
Have An Amazing Haircut
When it comes to looking sexy with your haircut, the latest hair trend
does not necessarily mean the sexiest. An expensive barber does not mean
you’d get a good one that will give you a hairstyle that will suit your
appearance and lifestyle. Women see a well carved and nicely structured
haircut as sexy. Be sure to get your style right.
Be Confident
To appear sexy, you need to be confident in your own skin. Find the
reasons why women will see and think of you as sexy. Be confident in who
you are and try to make yourself better than who you were.
Facial Hair
Facial hair goes a long way in adding to your sex appeal. Ensure you
get yourself properly waxed and shaved by getting rid of any hair that
doesn’t look good on you. And by this, we mean nose hair and chest hair
that crawls up to your neck.
Wear Fitted Clothes
Getting the best of clothes may be expensive as opposed to getting
clothes that fit. Look for ready-made clothes that fit your body frame
perfectly. A well fitted outfit accentuates your body in all the right
places.
Have Your Style Image by Rog WalkerKnowing
the kind of image you intend to portray can go a long way in helping
you create your style. Your style reflects your personality and women
will find you incredibly sexy if you’re comfortable in your own skin and
clothes.
Smell Rich
Women fund men that smell good irresistibly sexy. You don’t have to
drill a hole in your wallet to get the most expensive perfume, but try
and at least get something that will make everyone crave a whiff of you
after you’re long gone. You can get advice from a female friend on what
type of cologne will go best with your personality.
Stay Clean
This perhaps is the most appealing and sexy thing women look out for in
men. A woman can forgive you for everything if you appear clean and
neat always. Chances are she’d get carried away with the sex appeal that
comes from your neatness. Pay good attention to your clothes, breath,
skin and general hygiene and she’d probably consider licking stuffs off
your sexy body.
Stand Upright
Slouched shoulders makes a man look tired and defeated but a man
standing upright looks tall and powerful. Good posture adds much to your
sex appeal as it helps you exude poise and confidence.
As a
bonus, you may want to learn how to dance. You don’t have to be an
exceptional dancer, but knowing how to move your body to the beats of a
song will make any woman find you appealing. Also, wearing some lip balm
to mask dry lips or just for show can do a lot to entice women. This
will make women around you think of your lips as kissable which adds a
lot to your sex appeal.

They urged the court to declare the Senate decision as a nullity.Medical students of the University of Lagos,
UNILAG, have pleaded with the Federal High Court to prevent the
university senate from going ahead with its plans to change the academic
requirement needed by them to proceed to 200-level.
The 100 level students described the decision taken by the school as “an attempt to weed them out of the university.”
The
aggrieved students complained that they were admitted to study
dentistry, nursing, pharmacology and medicine but they have been asked
to study other courses like botany and microbiology, Punch reports.
They
accused the authorities of introducing new entry requirements at the
point of their moving to 200 level, despite scoring more than the 50
per cent.
The
students accused the university of raising the academic requirement in
order to accommodate diploma students, who allegedly paid N500,000 to
the institution’s College of Medicine.
The aggrieved students, through their lawyer, Mr. Jiti Ogunye, therefore, urged the court to declare the Senate decision as a nullity.
They
claimed that upon being admitted to the university, the academic
requirements they needed to proceed to the second year were clearly
stated in the Faculty of Science pre-Medical and Pharmacy Programmes
2014-2016 Information Handbook made available to them.
They added, “The
said revision was not carried out with noble and genuine intentions to
enhance academic standards in the MBBS and other medical programmes in
the College of Medicine.
“It was also not
for the reason of adherence to the admission quota of either the
National Universities Commission or of the Medical and Dental Council of
Nigeria for the MBBS in the College of Medicine, (which is 150 for the
College of Medicine).
“It was for the
purpose of creating admission spaces for foundational course students
who are given (or more appropriately sold) admission into the MBBS and
other medical programmes upon participating in a one-year programme
organised by a Joint Unified Preliminary Examination Board for which
they paid to the university a minimum total fee of N400,000 per
session.
“The said payment is part of the
internally generated revenue of the university, a stream of revenue
which has attracted wide criticism in the university system in Nigeria,
for lack of transparency and accountability in its management.”
He said, "please, try to bear with us as we reflect on where we found ourselves.”
President Muhammadu Buhari has apologised for dissolving governing councils of universities along with the boards of parastatal agencies.
According to NAN,
Buhari offered the apology during the National Executive Council
meeting of the All Progressives Congress in Abuja on Thursday.
He said: ”We gave a blanket order which we had to rescind when we said all boards are suspended or dissolved.
”We
had to go back and lick our vomit in terms of universities councils
because we found out that according to their laws, they cannot choose
vice chancellors unless the councils sit and interview candidates who
want to be VCs.
”So, there is nothing
wrong in saying sorry and going back on your decision. So, we said sorry
and allow all the universities to continue with their councils.
“So, please, try to bear with us as we reflect on where we found ourselves.”
Buhari
has also said his government had been able to recover more than three
trillion naira by insisting on the Treasury Single Account (TSA).
”The
policy we are trying to implement is TSA when we insist that we have to
know what comes in and what goes out for us to make a comprehensive
amendment to the economy.
”If you go and
see the Central Bank Governor, he will tell you that in the TSA, we have
more than N3 trillion. Where would this money have been if TSA was not
in vogue?
”I was made to understand that
vouchers would have quickly been raised towards the end of the financial
year and checks made whether they are going into projects or private
pockets, nobody can prove it to you.
”But
that money is there, it is identified, if is quantified and when the
budget comes back eventually, the Ministry of Finance will see how to
allocate it to the rest of the country, ” he said during the speech.
There are five good reasons the comic book geeks and the rest of the
world are excited about the release of the "Batman vs Superman: Dawn
of Justice." Check them out.
“Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice” is one movie every DC Comic book fan is excited about.
It’s
actually one of the most anticipated movies of the year as even the
rest of the movie-watching clan were counting down to its release.
It’s
finally showing in Nigeria cinemas, and it’s indeed one worth seeing.
Check out five reasons why you should spend your holiday or free time
checking out this movie.
Here we go;
1. Henry Cavill
You
don’t necessarily have to be a “Superman” fan to ache to watch the
actor on screen as the superhero. He recently revealed that he worked
out for his role in “Dawn of Justice,” so, picture a bulky Cavill
rocking that skin-tight superhero outfit, and that is enough reason.
2. Ben Affleck as Batman
Who wants to miss seeing Affleck take over from Christian Bale
as the super dark and brooding superhero? Affleck did a great job
taking on the role for the first time, and it was double dose of fun
watching him be Bruce Wayne and Batman.
3. Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman
There has always been something captivating about this character from the trailer days.
The "Fast and the Furious"
actress does an outstanding job as Wonder Woman. From her debut, Gadot
steals all the attention with her beauty and mysteriousness. And oh,
you also get to see her suit up in the Wonder Woman costume, plus she
sure does know how to take and give a punch.
4. Doomsday
Wonder
Woman isn’t the only cameo appearance fans have to deal with. Another
is the Kryptonian monster, Doomsday, who has been described as "incredibly powerful, merciless, and seemingly unstoppable,” and does he live up to expectations? Yes, in more than one way.
The fight between him, Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman, is enough reason to see the movie.
5. A fight between Batman and Superman
This has to be the part almost everyone has been anticipating. Villain Lex Luthor
described the fight as ‘God versus Man,’ and that is just enough to
watch the much anticipated DC Comic movie. Who wouldn't want to watch
Superman defeat Batman and vice versa.
Have you seen the movie? What do you love most about it?
The deceased bore no sign that could indicate that he wanted to killhimself.
Authorities at the University of Lagos, Akoka, are investigating the death of a 300-level microbiology student, Jacob Eniola, who died in the school hostel after ingesting a poisonous substance called Sniper.
According to Punch, he was rushed to the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, Idi-Araba, where he died on Sunday, March 20, 2016.
A former student leader, Kunle Adegunoye, expressed his affection for the deceased on Facebook saying,
“March
2014 was the first time I saw him strolling towards the entrance of the
iconic room 113, Biobaku Hall of residence, bright, confident,
enthusiastic and likeable.
“Young, naive
and ready to learn, he became the toast of everyone in the room. Hardly
can a minute pass without Enny, as he was fondly called, ease smiles out
of us. He made us sit up and do research with his brilliant, though
unending arguments.”
The reason why Eniola decided to poison himself is still a subject for pondering.
A source who confirmed that the deceased took poison said, “He
stays in Biobaku Hall. It was on Saturday that he took the poison and
he was rushed to the hospital. This morning, we got the news that he’s
dead. I honestly cannot tell why he did that.”
We know the number of students that sit for UTME organised by the
Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) every year."
New reports from the National Universities Commission (NUC) has revealed that only 400,000 out of the 1. 5 million candidates that write the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) every year gain admission into Nigerian universities.
The NUC Executive Secretary, Prof. Julius Okojie,
said that the commission is usually unable to make provision for 1.1
million of the 1. 5 million candidates who apply for admission into
various universities yearly.
"We know the number of students that sit for UTME organised by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) every year.
"However,
out of the 1.5 million students who write UTME every year, we are
barely able to make provision for only about 400 students."
He urged universities to take research seriously in order to solve the immediate challenges of the society.
Okojie said this when Gov. Adams Oshiomole of Edo visited the Commission on Wednesday in Abuja.
Oshiomole was at NUC to collect the Certificate of Recognition for the newly established Edo State University, Iyanmo.
Okojie expressed his approval of the establishment of the new varsity saying, "I am always happy when a new university comes on board; what that means is that we are expanding and we are opening up access."
According to the executive secretary, the Edo State University, Iyanmo, has become the 41st state university and the 142nd university in Nigeria.

Activities at the school have now return to what they used to be.
Daily events at Queen's College,
Yaba, Lagos, have normalized, following the storm whipped up in the
past few days concerning the alleged sexual assault of a student by Mr. Olaseni Oshifala, a teacher in the school.
A
parent, whose child was allegedly molested by a drunk Mr. Oshifala,
blew the whistle on the internet over the weekend, bringing the matter
to the attention of the media, and public. Negative reactions aroused
swiftly as ex-students of the school posted tweets in support of the claim, culminating in a peaceful protest in front of the school premises on Monday, 21 March 2016.
Activities return to normal at Queens College
However, following the protests and outbursts, Pulse
gathered that activities at the school have now return to what they
used to be. According to an anonymous source, academic activities are
reduced, though, since the students have finished their exams, now
waiting to go home for Easter holidays.
Pulse
also gathered that Osifala is still a teacher in the school and no
action has been taken to detain or suspend him pending conclusion of
investigations.
Activities return to normal at Queens College
It is expected that
the holidays would be used to properly investigate and clarify what
truly went down; as some students and people from other quarters
maintained that the teacher is innocent, and is only being victimized,
while others, most conspicuously some former students on twitter, and
the Old Girls Association of Queens College (QCOGA) maintain that the
embattled teacher is culpable, as he has a long unchecked history of
molesting students.
Activities return to normal at Queens College
While allegations and denials rumble on, the Federal Ministry of Education has waded into the matter,
alongside the school management and the PTA who have already combined
forces to investigate the matter. Authorities of the college have also
reportedly invited the police to probe allegation, which explains the
Police van stationed outside the school at the time our correspondent
visited the school earlier today.
The accused
teacher, Mr. Oshifala, who tags the accusation as an antic of his
enemies, is reportedly billed to visit the police station with the
school’s principal, Lami Amodu.
Mr. Akpabio called on Nigerian leaders to uphold ethics and morality as part of efforts to curb corruption in the country.
The Senate Minority Leader, Godswill Akpabio, has pledged to build a new hostel for the Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Igbariam, Anambra State.
Mr. Akpabio made the offer Thursday while delivering a lecture as part of events for the school’s 7th convocation.
In
his lecture on “The Nigerian Question: Ethics in an Age of
Uncertainty”, Mr. Akpabio called on Nigerian leaders to uphold ethics
and morality as part of efforts to curb corruption in the country.
Mr. Akpabio defined ethics as doing things that are right and moral.
He commended the Federal Government for fighting corruption but stressed that it should be done across board, NAN reports.
Mr. Akpabio also advised political leaders against cross carpeting, saying it was mostly done in selfish interest. He
assured members of the National Assembly would continue to maintain
ethics and good moral behaviour in making laws in the interest of the
masses.
Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Fidelis Okafor, commended Akpabio for his promise to build a hostel in the institution.
Mr. Okafor urged students and graduates to imbibe the spirit of morality in life.
“All the 1st class graduands are to remain with us; it is the
University’s policy and they cut across all the faculties and
departments,"- VC
The University of Calabar
is to offer automatic employment to its 12 first class graduates as
reward for hard work and motivation for students of the institution to
attain academic excellence.
Prof. Zana Akpagu,
Vice-Chancellor of the university, said this on Thursday in Calabar at a
news conference on the 29th convocation of the institution.
According
to him, the first class graduates are among the 7, 222 graduates of the
University during the 2014/2015 academic session billed for convocation
on Saturday.
“All the 1st class graduands are
to remain with us; it is the University’s policy and they cut across
all the faculties and departments, " he said.
The
vice-chancellor also disclosed that three individuals who had
distinguished careers in the service of Cross River and Nigeria would be
awarded “PhD, honoris causa” by the University during the convocation.
He said that former Gov. Donald Duke of
Cross River would be honoured for transforming Cross River, and a
former senator, Florence Ita-Giwa, for her contributions to the women
folk.
Senate President Bukola Saraki would also be recognised for his contribution to the development of Kwara as governor and to Nigeria in general.
According to Mr. Akpagu, the university will graduate 4,868 with first degrees, 952 with Masters Degrees and 1,402 with Diplomas.
Olayinka made this known during the matriculation ceremony for 4008 students.Vice Chancellor of University of Ibadan, UI, Professor Abel Idowu Olayinka has disclosed that 80 students were expelled from the institution for poor academic performance.
Olayinka
made this known during the matriculation ceremony for 4008 students for
the 2015/ 2016 session which took place on Thursday, March 17, 2016.
Twenty
eight of the expelled students came from the sciences, while 20 came
from Agriculture and Forestry department. Arts produced 13 of them,
Basic Medical Sciences 1, Public Health 1, Social Sciences 6, Education
4, Technology 5, and Veterinary Medicine 2.
Olayinka also listed other reasons students might be dismissed for studying in the school.
“Any
of the under-listed is a criminal offence which must be referred to the
Police: fraud, theft, burglary, assault occasioning bodily harm,
murder, membership of a secret cult inside or outside campus, possession
of fire-arms, arson, rape, possession and/or use of hard drug and drug
trafficking and other criminal offences," he said.
He also urged students to face their studies, saying:
“Let
me inform you that at the University of Ibadan, we do not tell students
what to think. You have to learn to think for yourselves. Our teaching
is designed to produce intellectual self-reliance-to teach you how to
learn and how to take charge of your thinking. We encourage you to be
independent in your judgment and critical in your analysis. We work to
help you develop these skills here at UI, and we hope you will retain
them for life. They will continue to serve you as you experience a world
that is constantly and rapidly changing. I, therefore, want to charge
you not to restrict yourselves to your field of study alone so as to
profit maximally from the numerous activities that will be presented to
you throughout the duration of your course in the university.”
He
warned the students to comport themselves in a manner that is befitting
of an undergraduate student and or new postgraduate student of this
premier institution, as the university would not tolerate any act of "hooliganism
and wanton destruction of properties – all in the name of students’
demonstration, indecent dressing, prostitution and or any other social
vices."
Their expulsion was approved, having found the students guilty for
presenting fake/altered ND/NCE results, as their conduct violated the
college’s rules and regulationsThe Academic Board of the Yaba College of Technology
has expelled six final year students for presenting fake or altered
National Diploma (ND) and National Certificate of Education (NCE)
results for admission.
The expulsion notice is
contained in a circular signed by Mrs Taiwo Obadimu, the Deputy
Registrar of the college, which was made available to the News Agency of
Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos on Wednesday.
According
to the circular, the authorities of the institution considered the
report on verification of the affected students’ results and found them
culpable.
"Their expulsion was approved,
having found the students guilty for presenting fake/altered ND/NCE
results, as their conduct violated the college’s rules and regulations.
"The
students are advised to hand over all college property, including
student identity cards in their possession, to the heads of their
department, the Polytechnic Librarian and the Dean of Students’ Affairs,
with immediate effect,’’ the circular stated.
NAN
reports that the affected students were in the departments of Food
Technology, Mathematics and Integrated Science, Physics Education,
Estate Management and Valuation, Industrial Technical Education and
Industrial Maintenance Engineering.
The students gathered in groups in a peaceful manner to carry out their protest.
The Muslim Students Association, of the University of Lagos, who recently led a protest against the suspension of their association by the school authority, who placed an official named Mr. Musa to oversee their needs have received a good promise from the university.
The
students had appealed to the institution to reverse its decision
concerning the suspended association, and remove the official, who is
considered rather unfair.
In a bid to get attention, they took their protest to the Students Affairs Office, carrying placards with bold expressions of their dissatisfaction.
Eventually,
they received the attention of one of the University top officers, who
happens to be the Dean of Division of Student Affairs, Professor Gabriel Babawale.
He assured them that a congress would be called to resolve the challenges facing the group in the university.
He said, “The university is supportive of MSSN.
Your grievances have been received and we are going to call a congress
latest next week Thursday. Hold me responsible if it does not.”
The
students were quite pleased with the promise made by the University
officer. They will be looking at a quick response to their request.

"We have pleaded with the school authorities on several occasions on
the release of our results but unfortunately our pleas have fallen on
deaf ears."
A student of the Lagos State University, Anthony campus, has alleged that examination results, going back 6 years are yet to be released by the authorities.
In a mail published by LIB, the unnamed student wrote:
I
attended LASU (Anthony Campus) and graduated in the year 2009 but as I
write this, we are yet to receive our results from the school
authorities. We have pleaded with the school authorities on several
occasions on the release of our results but unfortunately our pleas have
fallen on deaf ears.
It is high time we call the attention of Lagos
State government and Management of Lagos State University (LASU) to the
plight of ex-Students of the institution. many students who have
graduated from the school and met all the necessary requirements to be
awarded certificates are yet to receive any proof of graduation. The
worse hit are students of the School of Part-time Studies (Anthony
Campus) who have nothing to show after spending at least 6 years in the
institution.
Some students who wrote
their final exams some 6 years ago are still at the mercy of the
School's Senate to approve their results. This is not encouraging
especially in a highly competitive and harsh labour environment like
ours. We are pleading with the listening Governor of Lagos, His
Excellency, Akinwunmi Ambode to look critically at the management of LASU with a view to expediting the release of student's result."
The school management has been contacted but no response have been offered as at the time of this report.
