The CEO of OAMA Beadz, Ayomide Ogunbiyi (OAMA) was born in the United States of America. Oama Beadz is a brand under the parent company, Oama Empire which was founded by Mr Ayomide Ogunbiyi. We had the opportunity to have an interview with him while on his short vacation in Nigeria.

  • CM :Can we meet you?
  • OAMA:My name is Ayomide Ogunbiyi Michael Afolarin. I was born in the Unites States, precisely New York City and I'm currently studying Business Management at the University of Bradford in UK.

  • CM :What year were you born ?
  • OAMA: 26th of June, ????I won't mention my year incase of those ladies that plan to hook up with me. LOL!!!😎

· CM : Your educational background  ?
· OAMA : I attended Apostolic Faith Secondary School (AFSS), Anthony Village, Lagos, where I completed my secondary school education. After which I attended foundation year at Oxbridge Tutorial college (OTC), Sobo Arobiodu, Ikeja, Lagos.

· CM : You started with only beads , what made you diversify ?
· OAMA: What made me diversify ? Well, I realized I had great potentials in me so I decided to try my luck on other forms of businesses. At the moment, I have Oama Beadz  running internationally ,Oama 5-A-Side league running in UK, working on my fashion line at the moment "Oama Kulture" . So, I am here to build me my own business empire!
.
· CM: Any hidden talents we should know about ?
· OAMA: I would say I'm very good with girls.

· CM: Are you dating anyone presently ?
· OAMA: No, I am not.

· CM :What brought about "OAMA BEADZ"
· OAMA : Oama Beadz, formerly known as 'OAMA Bead biz' is one of the few other companies under the 0ama Empire of which will be made public in the soonest while. 0ama Beadz was born at about June/July, 2011. It all started out to be an examination, Junior Secondary Certificate Examination (JSCE) popularly known as Junior WAEC. A fine art practical JSCE in which my bead artwork attained second position in the whole of Lagos State. Afterwards, bead painting became a thing of leisure to me not until I made my first sale on an artwork. I was given a job to do the logo of Mutual Benefits Assurance Plc. from which I earned a large amount of money. Everything that happened afterwards became 0ama Beadz.

· CM: What's the meaning of "OAMA"
· OAMA: My nickname is 'OAMA'. Well, you don't need any special knowledge to figure out how it came about, my initials. It all started when I wanted to begin Oama Beadz and I needed a name to use on the business card I was doing. So, I sat at the computer for hours after which I gave up the search for a name online and decided to try mix-matching my initials (like my elder sister did to get her nickname 'OMAO') and then it all came to me. It was all funny at first to my mates in school but they eventually gave in and joined the 'OAMA' movement.

· CM: Achievements so far ?
· OAMA: Apart from the  exhibition I held last year in Lagos, Nigeria titled " Glimpse of God" ,  I can proudly say through Oama Beadz I have been able to start a movement and establish a fast growing market for Oama Beadz and other affiliate companies of the Oama Empire. Through the audience Oama Beadz attracted, I have been able to establish my own football league held in the UK, I am presently working on my fashion line which will drop soon and I am launching my fashion show soon as well. I diversify simply because I dream to own my own empire of companies and be a billionaire!

· CM: Do you work with any other brands ?

· OAMA: No, at least not yet. I'm riding solo for now till I have fully established myself in the business industry, then, brands will start looking for me instead of me looking for brands to work with. I am definitely not an island, I have my squad with me all the time.
Artworks displayed at the exhibition.

    ·    CM: Are you planning on taking your brand internationally ?
    ·    OAMA: Yes, of course. In fact, it is already international. We have started activities in UK for almost a year now.

    · CM:What has been your major challenge ?
    · OAMA: My parents were my major setback, you know how Nigerian parents can be at times. But I know they just want the best for me and they carry out their parenting duties the way they know how to.

    · CM : Your major inspiration ?
    · OAMA : There's this particular someone that motivates me, if not for her... I rest my case there.

    · CM: Where do you see yourself in the nearest future?
    · OAMA :Well, my vision is to build an Empire of my own comprising of diverse fast-growing companies and businesses. And by the age of 25, I will officially become the youngest billionaire in Africa, worst case scenario, in the whole of Nigeria. Simply put, I want to be the next Dangote but achieve everything he achieved at a much younger age. REALLY BIG DREAM RIGHT? Yeah, I am going to give it all it takes.

    · CM : Finally, what would you like to say to up and coming entrepreneurs?
    · OAMA : I'm just going to drop a quote of mine, "Success is the ability to live your life to the fullest doing what you love doing and making the best out of it", ensure not to exclude God. "
