The Yeezy Spring/Summer 2017 Ready-To-Wear collection lookbook is out!
The
new collection presented to horrible reviews at the Roosevelt Island in
New York where he staged a dramatic presentation of the latest
offerings from his infamous luxury street style brand.
The Yeezy Season 4 looks were all
about neutral tones and palettes that scream minimalist styled
athleisure styles. Taking a cue from the past season, the rapper infused
even more similar styles from his past collection into the present
collection.
Taking
obvious cue from military streetwear, pieces were crafted in field
jackets, slouchy knitwears that has become a signature, bodycon dresses,
leotards, oversized knitwears/sweaters, high boots and more standout
pieces.
Extra form fitting silhouettes, nude tones, body
baring and more were employed to style the collection that's not special
but looks more like another repeat of the Yeezy brand that has fast
become unrealistic and a flagrant display of highly unpractical looks
that are becoming borderline annoyingly 'un-artsy' unlike what it
supposedly stands for.
There's nothing special about the collection and as usual predictable but as usual leave it to creative director; Kanye West to milk something out of it!
